Many thanks to all those who have sponsored the races at the up coming Dog Produce Races at Kelton Fell near Kirkland. Without the sponsorship and the good will of the farmers and land owners then running the races would not be possible. Just a reminder to those who have not yet returned the trophies can you please do so this next week.

The trails will now start at 11am following a number of requests to move the time to accommodate the Rugby Challenge Cup in the afternoon.

Robert Airey (Wac) presenting the cheque for £430 to the Committee members of the Memorial Hall at Kirby Thore which was raised at the John Pattinson Memorial Races held at Helton last month. Many thanks to all those who supported the races and contributed. Much appreciated.

A big thank you to all the sponsors of the races at the May Day Races – G.A. Wilson, Sadie’s Tails on Trails, JD Auto, Long And Small Garage, The Gincase and Cockermouth and Workington Area Committee. A special thank you to Kez Wilson for presenting the trophies on the day. Well done to all the winners and everyone who got a ticket as well as all those who came and took part in the event.
