For those who new Laurence Pattinson (Nasher – to his friends) his funeral is at the Crematorium at Distington at 11am tomorrow. Nasher was an active member in the Cockermouth and Workington area both running hounds and helping to run trails and scout roads. We pass our condolences on to his family and friends.

Just a request to anyone who exercises their hounds on Dent Fell, over the next few months, can they please keep their hounds on the lead to avoid any hounds chasing deer who have young at the moment. This request has come from those who over see the area.

Hello Everyone I have been asked to remind everyone regarding the new rule that was brought in by the Executive Committee for this year. The rule states that all owners/trainers of hounds must pick up after their hounds once they have cleaned on the trail field. Can all members also be reminded to take the dog muck home with them and not leave it on the field in the poo bag or put it in the bin if one is provided.

Just to confirm that John can send out annuals via the post to anyone who wants them, £7 for one £12 for two anymore than that it will be the cost of the annuals plus postage.

Next Fixture meeting will be on the 10th May at the Brewer’s Fayre, Cockermouth. Anyone wanting to put fixtures on in June/July needs to attend.

It is with regret that we will have to change the slipping times for the May Day trails on the 1st May at Helton due to an issue which has come up to do with gaining permission. Therefore the first trail will now slip at 4.00pm

I will be at Helton at the May Day Trails and will collect any Insurance and levy due from the March Trial Trails and any from the main trails in April.

If any member that has still not paid their membership i will also collect that as it is well over due.
