71.4  If any hound is known to be at large as a result of taking part in a trail and has not been found within 14 days ,then no further trails shall take place until sanctioned by the Committee . This ban shall be removed by the Committee immediately the missing hound is found , and it may be lifted if the hound is still missing but has not been seen for 14 days after the imposition of the ban , or at an earlier date with the agreement of the National Farmers Union.

The trails at millstone moor on Tues October 15th were sanctioned by the Chair. Vice- Chair and secretary on behalf of the Committee.

The committee held a meeting last week and under discussion was the venue for the bitch produce.

Oulton had been nominated but due to leave being refused by Natural England an alternative venue will have to be found and the same problem ( trailing ban on land designated SSSI ) in finding a suitable venue for the dog produce in july in the Keswick area.

The International venue will be decided at a forthcoming meeting .

Money donated by the late George Harrop will be used as prize money and to purchase a memorial trophy for the October trails in the Westmorland Area.

 

A meeting between the vice – chair, former chair and secretary as to Chairman’s predicament.

1 A new deck chair to be purchased after the Chairman backflipped at Helton.

2 A homing device for his walking stick ( lost it at Grassings, Carlisle and Low Place )

3 Bus Routes, Bus Time Table , Bus Pass after another back flip ( the CAR)

4 An extra lead as he caught a wayward hound at Helton and used his belt , then his trousers fell down .
